A very hurting news: Cleveland Browns key player just announced that he will be leaving immediately after facing the…

In early December, the Kilbane family of Northeast Ohio got the awful news that their son and brother would have to spend Christmas at the Cleveland Clinic.
Kevin Kilbane had an open heart surgery in the middle of October, one that was supposed to be fairly routine relative to other open heart surgeries.
This procedure was the third one that he has had in his lifetime.
However, this surgery did not go as planned. After the initial operation, Kevin experienced complications in recovery that resulted in him having to have two more procedures.
After weeks in the cardiovascular ICU, the Kilbane’s knew that Kevin would have to spend Christmas in the hospital.
His family, and his sister Melissa, started brainstorming ideas on how to make this Christmas special for Kevin.
In a “hail mary” attempt, Melissa began reaching out to several Browns players telling Kevin’s story and seeing if there was anything that they would be willing to do just to bring a smile to Kevin’s face.
Well, on January 5th, quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson responded to Melissa’s direct message by offering a personally signed jersey. He’d even go one step further.
Instead of just sending the jersey in the mail, DTR hand delivered the gift to the Kilbane’s front porch making sure that Kevin received it.
Kevin returned home on January 11 and was gifted the jersey a few days after that.
He was “so surprised and extremely thankful” for what DTR did.
