Is Chip Kelly returning to the NFL? That’s the rumor out of Seattle as the Seahawks zero in on the possibility of stealing defensive coordinator Dan Quinn from Dallas to serve as their head coach … with Kelly – a great success in that region as the Oregon coach before coming to take over the Eagles – as his offensive coordinator.

A “package deal” is the terminology being used regarding Quinn and Kelly, who spent four years as an NFL head coach, with a record of 26-21 with the Eagles from 2013 through ’15 before going 2-14 with the 49ers in ’16.

 A member of the Philadelphia Eagles front office could be interviewing for a promotion with a division rival.

According to Sports Illustrated reporter Albert Breer, Eagles assistant general manager Alec Halaby is interviewing to become the GM for the Washington Commanders.
