ANNOUNCEMENT: Dennis Evans, Announce Resignation And Departure From Louisville Today….

Florida State goes on the road on Saturday to take on ACC foe Louisville.
The Seminoles come into Saturday looking to bounce back from a 75-68 loss to North Carolina last weekend.
The loss was their second in the last three games and dropped them to 12-8 overall and 6-3 in the ACC.
The Seminoles had been playing their best basketball before the last few games as they had won five in a row and seven of eight.
Jamir Watkins has been the top player for the Seminoles this year as he is leading the team with 13.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
The Cardinals have once again struggled in the ACC as they are just 1-9 in conference play. They upset Miami back on January 10th, but that is their only win thus far.
Overall they are 6-15 and they have lost 12 of their last 14 games. They haven’t won at home since December 17th when they beat Pepperdine by 22 points.
Despite the losses, the scoring has been balanced as Mike James leads five different players in double figures. James is averaging 13.4 points per game.
Those are the type of moments that fans die for, and moments like that is what has been severely missing in the Kenny Payne era.
Louisville hosted #12 Duke last Tuesday, and the fact that the attendance was somewhere south of 8,000 is downright embarrassing.
Hosting Duke in your home arena should always be a big attendance night for any team, especially if you are Louisville.
But the conversation has now shifted from ” I can’t believe that there were only 20,000 fans there for the Duke game” to ” 8,000 is a high number for Louisville attendance this year.”
It is honestly sad how bad things have gotten under Kenny Payne.
