Ethan Utley, a 2025 defensive line prospect, committed to Tennessee football on Thursday.

On Wednesday, the Tennessee football team began its spring practice with a scrimmage inside Neyland Stadium.

Sixth practice out of the fifteen scheduled for spring camp is being held by the Vols. As the Vols prepare for an off-weekend owing to the holiday weekend, Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel met with the media on Wednesday to discuss the scrimmage.

Edrees Farooq, a young defensive back, has proven to be dependable and productive in practice, according to Heupel. Freshman Farooq, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, might give Tennessee depth.

Heupel stated, “You have to start with playing hard.” “At this stage of spring ball, you want your veterans to perform like veterans, play football with integrity, and play without taking any penalties.
