Jaylen Brown Updates on Left Hand Injury

In the Boston Celtics’ 104-92 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday, Jaylen Brown recorded 17 points, seven rebounds, six assists, a steal, and a block.

Additionally, he performed admirably against Zion Williamson, taking on the challenge with vigor and intensity. His performance in that capacity assisted in keeping the previous first-overall selection to 25 points. Along with his four turnovers, he shot 4/11 and scored just 13 points in the last 36 minutes.

The native of Marietta, Georgia also had two near-miss injuries. He initially slipped on a damp patch and grabbed for his right knee, but he managed to continue playing.

Subsequently, Brown reached for his left wrist following the stripping of Williamson, which occurred after the player lost his footing on the slick court at the Smoothie King Center and Derrick White made a clean layup. He remained on the floor once more.

The two-time All-Star said, “I’m okay,” following the win. Apart from a slight soreness in my back, I’m fine.”

Brown revealed that he will have an examination on his left hand even though he stated that his right knee is also healthy.

“After we return to Boston, I’m going to have that checked out. However, I’ve been bothered by it for a while now.”

Monday night’s game between the Celtics and the Charlotte Hornets will wrap up their six-game road trip before they head back home. It is important to keep an eye on Brown’s status regarding that contest’s injury report.
