SAD NEWS: Jalen Milroe Quarterback of Alabama Crimson Tide is Gone….

within-state QB Reese, a recent signing from Alabama, is prepared to play for “one of the best programs ever assembled.”
Before move-in day, Bama247 checks in with a summer enrollee.
It’s finally the day he’s been waiting for. Nearly. On Sunday afternoon, quarterback Reese will move into the University of Alabama’s freshmen dorm.
When the standout from Ramsay (Ala.) High School committed to the Crimson Tide last September, the new staff promptly assured him that his scholarship would be fulfilled. In February, Reese signed his National Letter of Intent, formally announcing it.
He told Bama247, “I love coach DeBoer as a person,” following his victory as Class 5A Lineman of the Year. “I enjoy being around winners, and I have no doubt that he is one. Why wouldn’t a winner be around you?
“Being a part of that family is just a blessing,” Reese added.

With the announcement of Chuck McDonald’s pledge to compete in this year’s Polynesian Bowl, Santa Ana, California’s Mater Dei defensive back became another elite player on the roster.
McDonald, one of the best cornerback prospects in the country, has moved up in the 247Sports Rankings, which were released on Wednesday.
McDonald is now the No. 115 player in the nation and the No. 13 cornerback after rising from No. 151 among players nationwide. He’s got a terrific mix of length, athleticism, and cover instincts, and he just finished a successful track season with a personal best time of 10.84 seconds for the 100 meters.
At 6 feet 1 inch and 195 pounds, he demonstrates his ability to play both wide and in the slot. He is adept at playing the ball and covering ground, and we are pleased with the direction his game is currently taking.
McDonald expressed his excitement about the prospect. “I am thrilled to be playing in Hawaii and am looking forward to competing.
“I was born in Honolulu, but I don’t remember much from it because we moved to California when I was a little child. I can’t wait to return there and discover where it all began for me.”
Mater Dei has always had a robust Polynesian player population and has had multiple players compete in the Polynesian Bowl in the past.
“I’m still excited to learn a lot more about the Poly culture,” McDonald stated. “As I previously mentioned, I haven’t been outside since I was a child, so I’m eager to take in everything I can.
“Over the past few years, I’ve been watching the game, and it was fantastic. Everyone appeared to be having fun and competing. I can’t wait to take part in it.
One of the top high school all-star games in the country is now the Polynesian Bowl. The distinctiveness of the game lies in its celebration of both culture and football. The NFL Network will broadcast live coverage of the Polynesian Bowl.
“The Polynesian Bowl has emerged as the most popular high school football invitational,” stated the four-time Super Bowl champion and Polynesian Football Hall of Fame member.
chairman Jesse Sapolu of Fame. “AJ will have an experience of a lifetime.”
In terms of recruiting, McDonald’s final four were USC, Georgia, Alabama, and Oregon. He will make official trips to all four programs over the course of the upcoming month, having already made many unofficial visits to each.
McDonald has spent a significant amount of time on the USC campus, which is the closest university. He recently traveled to Oregon, and he was really impressed by the Ducks.
Since he ran point on the corner while coaching DBs at USC, Donte Williams, the DB coach at Georgia, has spent more time recruiting Williams than anyone else. Zabien Brown, a former Mater Dei corner, was recently signed by Alabama last year, and McDonald has always been a huge fan of the Tide program.
Although McDonald has not yet announced his decision, it is anticipated that he will do so in the summer, ahead of his senior year.
