I AM SORRY: Jordan James Reason why I left Birmingham city today…..

The transfer window will officially open in the middle of June and close at the end of August.
The EFL have confirmed the start and end of the summer transfer window, where Birmingham City will be extremely busy following relegation from the Championship. Blues will start next season in League One for the first time in three decades and a new squad needs to be built.
Blues will be able to register players from June 14 and the window closes on Friday, August 30 at 11pm. Summer windows in recent years have run into September but that will not be the case in 2024.
The winter transfer window will, however, run into February. Blues will be allowed to sign players from January 1 through to 11pm on Monday, February 3 in 2025.
Blues are expected to reveal their retained list by the end of the week. Eight senior players are out of contract at St Andrew’s following the disappointing 2023/24 campaign.
Birmingham City may lose some key players following their relegation to League One.
Owner Tom Wagner is clearly committed to Blues’ cause, but sales may be unavoidable this summer considering they have some promising players at their disposal.
They will be one of the most attractive third-tier sides to join this summer and that’s a real plus, but vultures are likely to be circling for some of their best assets.
Following such a productive summer window last year, with Birmingham starting to build for the long term at that point, more signings may be required to replace those who are set to be released and those who may be poached by other clubs.
Ahead of the summer window, we take a look at players who could attract plenty of interest in the coming months.
Jordan James graduated from Blues’ youth academy, which may mean he’s more committed to the club than most but the potential opportunity to play in a higher division following such a successful 2023/24 campaign will probably appeal to him.
He will also be keen to retain his place in Wales’ squad, something that may not be guaranteed if he plays in the third tier next term, so a departure could be on the horizon for the 19-year-old.
His current contract at St Andrew’s expires next year and it remains to be seen whether they have the option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.
But relegation may have dampened Birmingham’s chances of keeping hold of one of the most promising players. If they receive an offer of £15m or more, they should probably look to sell him.
