SAD NEWS: Canterbury bulldogs Head Coach is been hospitalized….

The Roosters lead the Bulldogs 8-4 after 25 minutes in front of a sell-out crowd in torrential rain in Gosford.

The wet weather has played a factor, with the Roosters taking advantage of a Bulldogs error to score their first try the very next set.

Earlier, the Bulldogs got on the board though Jaeman Salmon after some terrific lead up work from Jacob Kiraz and Jeral Skelton.

Bulldogs enforcer Viliame Kikau adds a big boost for this evening’s side as they chase down their fourth straight win.

Kikau slots in to start in the second row after being cleared from a finger injury during yesterday’s Captain’s Run.

Josh Curran, now cleared to return from HIA protocols, moves to the interchange bench alongside Bailey Hayward.

Drew Hutchison comes in at centre to replace Bronson Xerri, who has been ruled out with a hamstring niggle.

Jeral Skelton makes his first NRL appearance of 2024, starting on the wing while Jake Turpin moves to the starting lineup at lock. Eli Clark comes in at 18th man.

The Bulldogs will face the Roosters for the second time of the 2024 season and it is set to be a competitive battle tonight as the Blue and White look to further cement themselves in the top eight.

With Stephen Crichton out with Origin duties, Reed Mahoney will lead the side out.
