AM LEAVING: QB threaten to leave Arkansas Razorbacks if nothing is done about this!

The Arkansas Razorbacks football team is gearing up for a pivotal season following a disappointing performance last year.

One of their major areas of focus for improvement is undoubtedly their passing game, which was identified as one of their biggest weakness.

Last season, the Razorbacks struggled significantly in the passing department, ranking among the lower tiers in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).

Their new quarterback, Taylen Green, who transferred from Boise State, faced challenges with his passing performance, as indicated by his 120th ranking in PFF passing grade with a modest 60.2 rating.

Adding to their woes, Arkansas lacked consistent production from their receiving corps.

Out of their top eight pass-catchers returning this season, only Andrew Armstrong managed to exceed 400 receiving yards last year.

This lack of yardage distribution among receivers highlights a critical area needing improvement for the upcoming season.

Compounding their passing game struggles is the Razorbacks’ underwhelming performance in pass-blocking.

In 2023, Arkansas ranked a disappointing 99th in team pass-blocking grade across the FBS.

Looking ahead, the team faces the challenge of integrating two new offensive line transfers who have yet to prove themselves as full-time starters.

This transition adds an element of uncertainty to the protection of their quarterback and the overall effectiveness of their offensive schemes.
