Shocking News: Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson involved in car cr…

Oweh and Van Noy are the most established of the group.

After signing in Baltimore before Week 4 last season, Van Noy posted a career-high nine sacks and signed a two-year contract this offseason.

Oweh had five sacks last season, and the Ravens picked up his fifth-year option in April.

While he hasn’t broken out yet, a big year could be coming.

In 13 games last season, Oweh had 51 pressures, according to Pro Football Focus, which ranked 32nd amongst edge rushers.

Jadeveon Clowny led the team’s linebackers with 9.5 sacks last year, but he signed with the Carolina Panthers in free agency.

That leaves some production and opportunity out there, and while Oweh and Van Noy will likely get most of the reps, Ojabo, Robinson, and Isaac will be critical pieces as well.

The biggest unknown in this unit is Ojabo. A 2022 second round pick, Ojabo has struggled to stay healthy across his first two NFL seasons, playing five total games.

He’s coming off season-ending ACL surgery and was limited during most of Organized Team Activities and minicamp, but Head Coach John Harbaugh said the talented pass rusher should return sometime during training camp.

If Ojabo can stay on the field, he has major upside and could be a cornerstone piece in this defensive rotation.
