The College Football 25 video game is finally back. College football fans rejoice as we have the series back in action for the first time since NCAA Football 14 was released in July 2013.
Florida State fans are excited to start a dynasty with their beloved Seminoles after they accomplished an undefeated regular season and a conference championship in 2023.
The coaching staff added several newcomers to the roster to counteract a ton of losses that the squad endured.
I decided to conduct two simulations to see how the Seminoles would perform.
To my surprise, Florida State finished with a 5-7 record in the first version of the simulation. I was so shocked that I forgot to screenshot the statistics for the players.
Florida State lost to Boston College, California, SMU, Miami, North Carolina, Notre Dame, and Florida in the simulation.
This is the absolute worst-case scenario where teams such as Boston College (10-2), Miami (12-1), North Carolina (10-3), and Florida (9-4) overperformed.
While I am biased about the Seminoles, I do believe that there is a very low probability that they will not make a bowl game in 2024.
The second simulation was less than ideal as well as the Seminoles finished with an 8-4 record (5-3 ACC record) with losses to Georgia Tech (by 20 points?), California (what is with the love for Cal?), Duke (RIP to the winning streak), and Florida (Billy Napier doesn’t have his walking papers yet?).
