Heart Breaking News: Miami Dolphins Legend “Dan Marino” was just confirmed dead in a car cr…..

The Miami Dolphins are bringing in edge-rusher Emmanuel Ogbah in for a workout Monday, according to NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe.

Miami is suddenly thin at the position after Shaq Barrett announced his retirement from the NFL on Saturday

Ogbah would be a natural replacement after having spent the past four years in South Florida.

The 30-year-old’s usage and production did tail off, though, after he posted nine sacks in each of his first two campaigns with the Dolphins.

In 15 games in 2023, he had 5.5 sacks but was on the field for just 25 percent of their defensive snaps.

Teams are always left with few options this late into the offseason when they need to make any additions to the roster, and Miami isn’t in a position to where it can be too selective.

It placed linebackers Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips on the active/physically unable to perform list earlier this week.

A reunion with Ogbah would fortify the Dolphins’ ranks in the front seven and he’s about as good as they’re gonna find between now and the regular season.

According to NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe, the Dolphins will bring Ogbah in for a workout on Monday. He is the first player the Dolphins have reportedly shown interest in since Barrett’s retirement.

After signing a four-year, $65.4 million deal in 2020, Ogbah had a productive stint with the Dolphins, 2022 notwithstanding.

He tallied nine sacks in each of his first two years with the team and had 5.5 sacks in a reduced role during the 2023 campaign.
