Good news from Boston Celtics….

Malik Fitts most recently played in the NBA during the 2021-22 season when he was a member of the Boston Celtics and Utah Jazz.

He finished the year with averages of 1.4 points and 1.1 rebounds per contest while shooting 42.1% from the field in 15 games.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Fitts is signing with SIG Strasbourg.

Fitts has played part of two seasons in the NBA with the Los Angeles Clippers, Boston Celtics and Utah Jazz.

His career averages are 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds per contest while shooting 40.9% from the field in 18 games.

It was an exciting day over at the Basketball Hall of Fame Wednesday afternoon where fans had the opportunity to meet one Boston Celtics legend.

Every summer the Hall of Fame has a program free of charge to museum guests that builds up to Enshrinement weekend by bringing in current or former stars. On Wednesday that guest was none other than the 1981 NBA Finals MVP Cedrick Maxwell.

The former Celtics great and current radio broadcaster had a sit down conversation in front of a packed gym, where he spoke about his 11-year NBA career, 8 of which were with the Celtics.

Maxwell also answered questions from the fans, and eventually gave them all an opportunity for an autograph and a picture.

He told 22News, “To be away from the game as long as I have and still be apart of the Celtics, it’s amazing really to come in and see kids and kind of enjoy yourself and talk to them and get a whole bunch of crazy questions.”

Almost every single person who was inside of the Hall of Fame at the time of Maxwell’s visit either sat in the gymnasium or watched above from one of the upper levels
