Heart Breaking News: John Schneider lovely wife in a terrible car accident today that Leads to…..

Will Joey Votto be promoted from Triple-A Buffalo to the Toronto Blue Jays ahead of the Cincinnati Reds’ three-game series in Toronto August 19-21?
That’s the million-dollar question, and Jays manager John Schneider sounded Tuesday like it’s a strong possibility after Votto homered for the Bisons on Sunday and helped Buffalo rally past the Worcester Red Sox last Friday.
“You sign him for a reason,” Schneider said, per Sportsnet’s Ben Nicholson-Smith.
“I think you make room for him. And I think having a guy like him here within this clubhouse goes a long way.”
The six-time National League All-Star and former Reds first baseman joined Buffalo on July 19, but the team announced shortly before first pitch that he wouldn’t start because he tweaked his right ankle before the game.
Earlier in July, Votto hit his first homer of a rehab assignment for the Jays’ Low-A affiliate in Dunedin, Florida.
Votto hit .294 with 356 home runs in 17 seasons with Cincinnati.
He missed several games in June with lower back tightness, and he’s been on rehab assignment because of an ankle injury he suffered during spring training.
He signed a minor-league deal with his hometown Jays in March.
