Heart Breaking News: San Francisco 49ers Head Coach involved in a car crash accident that Leads t…

McCaffrey would be able come back for October 10 when the 49ers take on the Seattle Seahawks.

He will miss away games against the Vikings and Los Angeles Rams, and home matches against the New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals.

A three-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time first-team All-Pro, McCaffrey led the NFL with 1,459 rushing yards last season.

This will be the first time he’s been on injured reserve since joining San Francisco in 2022.

Well, that was frustrating. The San Francisco 49ers showed up for the game in Minnesota against the Vikings, but barely.

A barrage of mistakes and ugly play put the 49ers in a hole they couldn’t climb out of.

From untimely penalties to turnovers, San Francisco couldn’t get out of its way in this one, falling 23-17.

The offense was bad. The defense was bad. The special teams was bad. And the coaching wasn’t great either.

But there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of injuries, so that’s one positive thing.

The San Francisco 49ers are going to be without reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year Christian McCaffrey for at least the next month.

San Francisco placed McCaffrey on short-term injured reserve immediately ahead of its Week 2 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

McCaffrey had missed the opener with a calf and Achilles’ injury. The 49ers are playing the long game with their star running back.

It makes sense given both his importance moving forward and the tricky nature of Achilles’ injuries.
