Exciting News: Netflix Have Release Documentary on Penn State.

Dressed in camouflage pants and white jerseys, Penn State football showed up and showed out at the THON 2025 Pep Rally.

But before that, the Nittany Lions were in blue. As they held their annual Explorers Program in the Lasch Building, players enjoyed face painting, balloons and an overall good time with the kids. Saturday, plenty of players expressed what THON meant to them.

Typically the time players spend in the building is reserved for grinding away, as they prepare to put themselves in the best position possible for the season. Like the rest of the Penn State community, that didn’t stop the program from taking the time to put the kids first.

Offensive lineman Cooper Cousins has been around THON all his life, with siblings who are Penn State alumni. He’s recognized the impact Penn State’s made off the field.

“Nobody does it as good as us here, as far as THON,” Cousins said. “Everybody comes together in this town. You know, sacrifice is a lot for these kids. It’s for the kids. It’s incredible.”

Cousins relished at the opportunity to help out the kids. He was one of many Nittany Lions to take the stage and enjoy moments with the kids throughout the day. His teammates Nick Dawkins and Dominic Rulli, who have long been praised for their leadership — Dawkins as the 2024 Wuerffel Trophy winner and Rulli who aspires to be a physical therapist.

Even on the other side of the ball, the urge for service is clear. Redshirt sophomore linebacker Ta’Mere Robinson is a rehabilitation and human services major, he aims to work with schools and be an “outlet” for kids.
