Update: Oumar Ballo is most likely not going to make the rumored visit to Arkansas because he has committed to Indiana officially.
The 7-0, 260-pound former Arizona center is allegedly scheduled to meet new Arkansas head coach John Calipari in Fayetteville on Tuesday afternoon, according to 247Sports national recruiting analyst Eric Bossi. As mentioned in the update above, that has subsequently changed.
Ballo started his collegiate career at Gonzaga and spent the last three seasons at Arizona. According to the 247Sports NCAA Transfer Portal rankings, he is presently the top prospect overall. Ballo’s offensive rebound percentage of 15.1 and combined 15.6 rebounds per 40 minutes, as reported by advanced stats, placed him in the 97th percentile of college basketball players for the previous campaign.
