New York Yankees Now Reach Agreement With Chicago White Sox To Sign Top Talented Star….

Chicago White Sox Trade Reliever to New York Yankees
The New York Yankees have traded with the Chicago White Sox in an attempt to bolster their pitching staff.
They surprised many by winning a four-game series on the road against the Houston Astros, especially after Gerrit Cole was placed on the 60-day injured list.
For a squad that has high expectations after missing the playoffs in 2023 and choosing to go bold by signing Juan Soto in a big deal this offseason, starting 4-0 is fantastic.
However, despite the excitement following these outings, there is still some worry about this pitching staff due to Cole’s injury. To make up for the production that their ace left behind, the Yankees will need to deploy a variety of guys.
As a result, the front management in New York made the decision to strengthen their organization’s depth.
According to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com, they sent back monetary considerations in exchange for reliever Jake Cousins, who was obtained in a trade with the Chicago White Sox.
The right-hander has spent the last three MLB seasons pitching with the Milwaukee Brewers, but since 2021, when he made 30 appearances and recorded an ERA of 2.70, he has suffered a decline in usage.
He was limited in 2022 following his summertime placement on the 60-day disabled list due to a UCL issue. He could return later that year since he chose to forego Tommy John surgery in favor of platelet-rich plasma injection therapy.
Still, he spent the most of his time with the Brewers’ farm system and only made 21 appearances in the previous two seasons Triple-A affiliate before to 2023 when it was placed on waivers.
Before being traded to the Yankees, Cousins was most recently a member of the White Sox organization after being claimed by the Astros.
Barring injury setbacks, he probably won’t contribute much to their bullpen this year, but this gives them depth in case they need it.
