SAD NEWS: Tommy Tremble tight end of Carolina Panthers is Gone….

CHARLOTTE: The Panthers finished their first week of organized team activities on Thursday with redzone day. As Bryce Young and his receiver corps as a whole ran through several scenarios within the 20-yard line, Tommy Tremble continued to be available.

After one touchdown reception, he grabbed two, then three.

One of the offensive coaches exclaimed, “He was on fire today,” as he watched the tight end practice.

Tremble continued, “I want to be a guy that can do everything but you know, the red zone, that’s where you got to make the magic happen.”

Tremble will ignite even more if the Panthers’ offensive plays out as Dave Canales and the crew anticipate it would in 2024.

Despite playing in a different system, Tremble was the team’s top tight end receiving last season

that lacked many measures to optimize the posture. Nevertheless, he led the team with 23 receptions for 194 yards and three touchdowns. Since Hayden Hurst, who is currently with the Los Angeles Chargers, was not brought back by the Panthers, Tremble was likely given even more touches and responsibility this season. Ja’Tavion Sanders of Texas was selected by them in the fourth round of this year’s draft, however.

That choice, as general manager Dan Morgan softened before the draft even started, was more of an extension of how the unit could contribute to the offense as a whole than a potential barrier to the others.

Morgan stated at the time, “Tommy Tremble is one of those guys that we hold in high regard.” “His growth from the previous year and the manner in which

that Ian Thomas and I both feel like he’s progressing; we’re quite happy about that. Ian is a dependable, experienced blocker. At the attack point, he is among the best blockers. Then Stephen Sullivan, a further prospect that excites us.

Consequently, we don’t exactly lack tight ends because we are thrilled with our players. However, we will never stop trying to add quality football players to our squad through the draft or free agency.”

Although Canales’ offensive is still being developed, Tremble has seen enough to believe that the entire team can contribute to the overall strategy.

“The way this attack is constructed and how we’ve kind of discussed it in meetings, “I believe that with our diverse personnel—11, 12, 13, and possibly even 14—we’re a team capable of handling any task that comes our way,” Tremble remarked. “This offense is very tight end friendly, and so we’re excited to use everyone to the best of their ability and just try to get the most out of what we can this year for the tight ends.”
