I AM LEAVING: Steffen Baumgart announced Leaving Fc Union Berlin immediately after…..

In addition to Werder Bremen, another Bundesliga club is apparently exploring a collaboration with Derrick Köhn.
As Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reports, 1.FC Union Berlin has submitted an offer to Galatasaray for the left-back.
What’s more, according to fellow Turkish journalist Ferhat Kiziltas, an agreement has already been reached between the teams.
The Köpenick club have supposedly agreed a transfer fee of €5million and a resale fee of ten percent are being discussed.
Sky Germany have since boosted that rumoured sell-on fee share to around 20 percent for the Istanbul club.
Köhn, who spent the last season on loan in Bremen and is only under contract with the Galatasaray until 2026.
1.FC Köln also took interest in the German but the newly promoted Bundesliga club decided to loan Kristoffer Lund from Palermo.
Following his loan spell, Bremen were interested in signing Köhn on a permanent deal. However, the Northerns now appear to be out of the race.
These reports have also been backed by Florian Plettenberg, who confirmed that Union Berlin are currently in advanced talks with Galatasaray regarding Köhn, with a transfer fee of around €5m being touted.
It’s also believed that the Turkish side will have a 20% sell-on clause within the deal.
Newly-promoted FC Köln were also interested in Köhn, but have opted to loan Kristoffer Lund from Palermo instead.
Union Berlin kickstart their Bundesliga campaign at home to VfB Stuttgart this weekend, but it’s unclear whether Köhn will be available in time.
