End of an era: Will Levis and 3 other Players from Tennessee Titans departed from the team after…

The Tennessee Titans have named their leadership group for the 2024 NFL season.
The captains were voted on by the players themselves.
Each leadership group member will don the “C” patch on their jerseys, something Tennessee is bringing back and did not do during the Mike Vrabel era.
While the Titans will have five regular captains throughout the upcoming season, head coach Brian Callahan may elect to carry an additional captain each week.
Wide receiver Calvin Ridley, who signed a four-year contract in free agency, was also named a captain for the Titans’ Week 1 matchup against the Chicago Bears, as Jim Wyatt of Titans Online reported.
The Titans have entrusted second-year quarterback Will Levis, expecting him to become the face of the franchise after being the No. 33 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft.
Despite an up-and-down rookie season, Levis showed flashes of potential.
He needs to be more consistent and certainly has the supporting cast to do so.
The Titans signed Lloyd Cushenberry, the top center in free agency, to strengthen the middle of the offensive line.
With nearly 60 games and 3,700 NFL snaps under his belt, the 26-year-old Cushenberry will undoubtedly be the anchor, leading a unit tasked with protecting quarterback Will Levis.
Last year, Jeffrey Simmons took on a pivotal leadership role.
With significant changes in personnel on defense, paired with a coaching overhaul, the 27-year-old unequivocally is the leader not just on the defensive line but the entire Titans’ defense.
