The quest for back-to-back national championships has already begun in Columbus.

With the 2025 season just around the corner, the Buckeyes will be tested with a few landmines throughout the campaign, including an opening night showdown with Texas on Aug. 30. A tricky matchup with upstart No. 11 Illinois will take the stage on Oct. 11, which could be flexed into a night game.

The hated Wolverines will host the Buckeyes on Nov. 29, looking for their fifth straight win in the rivalry. That accolade seems to hold a little less luster after watching Ohio State celebrate a national championship while Michigan was left out of the 12-team field.
