Tottenham have been backed to agree a new deal with Netflix which could be worth as much as £50million.

Daniel Levy might not be the most popular man, however, the Spurs chairman’s brilliance can’t be denied when it comes to generating ways to boost revenue at the club, and it looks as though another exciting opportunity might have presented itself.

It was announced via Spurs’ official website on Tuesday [17 December] that the club had partnered with Netflix to support the launch of the second season of Squid Game, which is releasing on 26 December.

And according to ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – this could open the door for more collaboration between the North London club and the streaming giant.

Not only as a football team but also with the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium hosting NFL matches. There are many potential angles involved. This could probably benefit both Netflix and the club.

I would think any such deal would be worth around £50million. When you look at Tottenham now, there has been talk about the Super Bowl being played at Spurs. I’d imagine Netflix are looking at the situation. If they’re venturing into sports, Spurs would be a good option. It could be an exciting deal financially.”

Netflix continues to push the boat out when it comes to sports, recently streaming their first live event as Jake Paul took on Mike Tyson, while the platform is set to become the brand new home of WWE in 2025.

Therefore, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they were also looking at subjects for a brand-new documentary.

And if they are, it would be hard to look much further than Spurs, especially with the constant drama at the club.
