The Cincinnati Bengals key player exit leaves coach Zac Taylor and fans in tears today for….

Amarius Mims is who? Cincinnati welcomes an offensive tackle prospect for the 2024 NFL draft.
The Cincinnati Bengals are aiming to add a quality player on April 25 with the 18th choice in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, which is three weeks away.
Orlando Brown Jr. and Trent Brown are two outstanding offensive tackles for the Bengals heading into the next year. However, it doesn’t mean they won’t take an offensive lineman like Georgia tackle Amarius Mims at No. 18, Oregon State tackle Taliese Fuaga, or Alabama tackle JC Latham into consideration.
The 6-foot-7, 340-pound offensive lineman Mims recently visited the Bengals in Cincinnati, according to his Instagram story.
What you should know about Mims, the NFL combine participant who ran a 5.07 40-yard dash:
Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN stated of Mims, “Mims is the perfect case of a high-ceiling, high-risk prospect.” “Injuries and draft selections ahead of him present a risk. The ceiling becomes evident when you witness him outmuscle opponents and demonstrate his remarkable footwork for a 340-pound player. Because of his exceptional tools, offensive line coaches will want to try to shape him.”
Talented tackle prospect with intriguing NFL attributes and a striking build. Mims has fairly decent technique and uses his hands well in advance of the action. Though he can be erratic in that regard, he has the size, bend, and athleticism to generate movement and make blocks while moving. He punches with two hands, which makes him somewhat lunge forward, but that should be fixable. He is rarely visibly defeated by a rusher, and when he is, he has the recuperation skills to make amends. Although Mims still has room to grow, he is a Day 1 prospect with the skills and attributes to be taken seriously at either tackle position. He is tall for his age,However, his inexperience might raise some concerns that could temper early expectations.”
Mims was a reserve for the 2021 national champions and participated in eight games. Mims participated in 14 games in 2022, starting both the College Football Playoff semifinal matchup against Ohio State and the title matchup against TCU at right tackle.
Mims had tightrope surgery after suffering an ankle injury in the Bulldogs’ SEC opener versus South Carolina as a junior last season. In the SEC title game, he made a comeback, but his ankle got damaged again. In the Orange Bowl game versus Florida State, he did not participate.
