Extension Impossible: John Calipari “Sad Truth About Kentucky Wildcats Organization”

March Madness is right around the corner, so it’s time to really break down what will carry Kentucky to the Final Four.
We have seen consistent play this season from Antonio Reeves, Rob Dillingham, Reed Sheppard, Adou Thiero, and Tre Mitchell when he was healthy. In March, someone will need to step up if Kentucky wants to make a deep run.
That player very well could be the seven-footer from Croatia, Zvonimir Ivisic. In the massive win over Alabama, Ivisic showed off his ability to score the basketball with 18 points off the bench while going 7-11 from deep. Against Alabama it was a Big Z game as the Crimson Tide score a lot of points and don’t have a good post player.
When the Wildcats headed to Starkville to take on Mississippi State, it seemed like it would be a Ugonna Onyenso game as the Bulldogs’ big man, Tolu Smith, plays physical. Smith dominated Onyenso all night and the only Wildcat big man who could stop him was Ivisic. If Ivisic can get better defensively, there is no excuse not to have him on the floor.
