Graham Mertz has Departed From Florida Gators Today

Florida is one of eight programs moving forward in contention for Dr. Henry Wise High (Upper Marlboro, Md.) defensive lineman Trent Wilson, On3 Sports shared on his behalf on Tuesday afternoon.
The Gators rest alongside Florida State, Maryland, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee and Texas A&M in Wilson’s top eight.
Standing at 6-foot-3, 270 pounds, Wilson sports a mature, muscular frame needed to occupy a versatile role along the defensive line at the next level.
He’ll project to play primarily at three-technique with packages designed to move him to a hand-in-the-dirt defensive end role if he aligns within Austin Armstrong’s scheme at the next level.
Wilson lived up to his four-star billing for St. Frances Academy, his previous school, as a junior despite appearing in just six games, demonstrating flashes of impressive burst and the ability to remain low off the ball to dart into the backfield, blended with well-distributed power.
As a result, he’s considered the No. 10 defensive lineman and No. 110 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
