AM SORRY: reason why I left Philadelphia eagles…..

America’s game of the week is one that both NFL teams have been waiting for: a rematch of the NFC Championship game from a year ago between the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Last season, the San Francisco 49ers had a string of bad luck when it came to injuries, losing notable staters such as Freed Warner on the defense and quarterback Brock Purdy.

A year ago, Purdy was undefeated as a rookie, making many believe that the 49ers deserved to be favorites over the Eagles despite the dominance of Jalen Hurts, who finished second in MVP voting and would go on to nearly defeat the Kansas City Chiefs and win the Super Bowl.

In the aftermath of the game, San Francisco wide receiver Deebo Samuel was adamant that it was luck that ultimately won the game for Philly and that if healthy, his team would have emerged victorious.

Today, he will have an opportunity to prove himself right, but it won’t be easy.

The Eagles currently hold the best record in the NFL at 10-1 and are coming off impressive victories over the Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, while the 49ers are 8-3 this season.

As of late, San Francisco’s defense has been stellar thanks to the contributions of Nick Bosa and his former college teammate Chase Young, who was acquired at the trade deadline.

However, none of that will matter if the Eagles offense led by Hurts and his pass catchers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
