The Los Angeles Chargers just finished a season they will want to forget.
Fortunately for them, the 5-12 season is behind them and now they can look ahead to the offseason.
This is surely going to be a huge offseason for the Chargers.
Not only will they have to make a head coach hire, but they also need to make significant roster improvements without any salary cap space.
That is why the Draft has to be a major part of their offseason strategy.
Fortunately for them, they have a pick in each round.
The 2024 NFL Draft will be held in Detroit from April 25-27, 2024.
The Los Angeles Chargers have one of the most straightforward draft pick situations in the entire league as they have no picks coming in or going out.
Every year, teams are awarded what are called compensatory picks based on qualifying free agents signed or lost the previous offseason.
The Chargers have one additional pick in the seventh round.
Ultimately, the Chargers have far more plusses than other teams, namely the Carolina Panthers, who are coming off a 2-15 season, don’t have a first-round pick and arguably have the worst owner in the NFL.
The Panthers brought up the rear of this list, while the Washington Commanders took the top spot.
After the Bolts, the Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks, Las Vegas Raiders and Tennessee Titans finished third to sixth.
