Shocking News. Detroit Lions 5 players die in a plane Crash today…..

Former Detroit Lions linebacker Leander Antwione Williams was arrested in Georgia on Thursday and is charged with assaulting police officers during the Jan. 6 attack at the U.S. Capitol, federal prosecutors said.

Williams, who went by Antwione Williams in the NFL, played for the Lions during the 2016 season.

He was arrested in Savannah and is charged with felony counts of assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers, and obstruction of law enforcement, the U.S.

Attorneyā€™s Office in Washington, D.C., said in a statement.

One was at the Republican National Convention in support of former President Donald Trump, while the other stumped for Vice President Kamala Harris along with former President Barack Obama.

They both expressed it as much on social media on Sunday, as the Lions dominated the Tennessee Titans, 52-17.

The Lions appear to be making believers out of everyone.

Detroitā€™s win put them at 6-1 for the season and on top of the NFC North. It is the third time this season the Lions have scored at least 40 points.

“That’s what champions do,” Detroitā€™s head coach Dan Campbell said after the game, viaĀ The Detroit News.

“When you come out, you don’t care what time of day it is, what the records are, what the surface is, you come out and handle your business, and we did that.
