Mykola will be hoping to make it into the starting eleven after scoring his maiden Swans goal at the weekend.
There is talk that Duff could opt for a more orthodox formation in midfield, which could see Ollie Coop take over from Liam Cullen. It remains to be seen, but with Coop alongside Matt Grimes – who is sure to start – and Charlie Patino alongside Jamie Paterson, who has seen his form improve under Duff, if the coach opts for Jamal Lowe, who is also a certain starter, along with Mykola, the side has a decent feel to it.
The Swans will look ahead to this game with two wins in their last three games. Their visitors, Birmingham City, did correct a worrying slide in form by winning 2-0 on the weekend, but it was only one win before that.
We’ll be joining Michael Duff at his pre-match press conference this afternoon, and while we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for the safety of Jerry Yates (see below), we’re confident that the Swans’ reserves will be up to the task.
