The Green Bay Packers linebacker and former Oregon Ducks star has been re-signed by the Packers, the team announced Tuesday.
Hollins was fired just hours before the Packers’ 17-14 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday.
With starting running back Aaron Jones missing his third game in four weeks, the Packers added running back Patrick Taylor in time for the game.
Taylor rushed twice for two yards and caught two passes for five yards Monday night.
He played 21 of 58 snaps on offense and three additional snaps on special teams.
The Packers released Taylor to make room for Hollins.
Hollins has played in 10 games for the Packers since the team signed him following his release by the Los Angeles Rams in November.
He signed a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Packers in March.
Hollins was on the field 84 times on defense in the Packers’ first four weeks.
