Butler has recorded more than 30 points in Miami’s two latest contests. Prior to that, the star forward struggled on the offensive end.
Meanwhile, All-Star big man Bam Adebayo holds the consistency of the offense with Tyler Herro sidelined. He is averaging a career-high 22.7 points, along with 10.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals.
In forward Caleb Martin’s return against the Nets, he scored six points on 2 of 3 shooting from beyond the arc in 12 minutes. His role will increase as he readjusts to the pace of the game.
If Caruso and DeRozan are sidelined, the Heat’s chances of earning their eighth consecutive win skyrocket.
