Only one player is slated to be missing in action for the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday when they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
That player is starting left guard Aaron Banks who is nursing a toe injury. Banks missed last week’s matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars as well.
Jon Feliciano had stepped in his place and performed well, which is why he is likely to get in rotation at right guard with Spencer Burford. It wouldn’t be shocking if he started either.
Burford has not been good this season, and the fact that the 49ers are going to incorporate Feliciano there is a testament to that. We’ll see if it works as well as last year when the 49ers did that with Daniel Brunskill and Burford.
Aside from Banks, the 49ers are a full go. Even their questionable list is fine with defensive end Robert Beal Jr. (hamstring), cornerback Darrell Luter (knee), and cornerback Samuel Womack (knee) on it.
The 49ers will be as healthy as can be with their starters and star players facing the Buccaneers. That is excellent news for them as they cannot afford to drop this game.
The three game losing streak that the 49ers went on before the Bye week put them in a bit of a bind for playoff seeding.
They need to take care of business against the lesser teams like the Buccaneers, especially since they are at home.
San Francisco should win this fairly easily before they get set to take on the Seattle Seahawks on Thanksgiving.
