Leeds United wonderkid Archie Gray is likely to be happy to stay at the club for a long time as he’s only currently focused on making it in Daniel Farke’s first-team.
The talented youngster has been linked with the likes of Liverpool in recent times, but journalist Dean Jones has provided an update on the player’s situation, and it sounds like reassuring news for Leeds fans.
Gray may well be snapped up by a bigger club at some point if he continues to develop like this, but Leeds fans can surely relax for now as Jones insists he’s only focused on making it for his current employers.
Speaking to Give Me Sport, Jones explained that he doesn’t think anyone at Leeds is “concerned” right now, with the player “hungry” to be a LUFC player.
He said: “I think he’ll stay at Leeds for the time being. Further down the line, it will depend on how far Leeds has been able to push themselves.
“If they can’t get back to the Premier League, his future will surely be in doubt. But, for now, I think he just has to focus on being a Leeds player.”
Former USA number one Brad Friedel believes the winger could have been part of the solution under Mauricio Pochettino but Pulisic looks to have made the right decision by swapping Stamford Bridge for the San Siro.
The 24-year-old has scored twice in his first three games and is key to Stefano Pioli’s plans after his €22m ($23.63m) move, with Milan making a perfect start to the season.
Berhalter will be confident that Pulisic’s new lease of life can benefit the USMNT.
Returning to Arsenal, the forward made his desire for first team football and reluctance to another temporary move perfectly clear.
His breakthrough campaign in Ligue 1 prompted a transfer battle across Europe, with the 22-year-old eventually opting to remain in France by joining Monaco in a deal that could rise to €40m ($42.92m).
Gregg Berhalter has selected his players for the upcoming friendlies with Uzbekistan and Oman as the squad begins to look ahead to the Nations League quarter-finals in November.
However, a couple of the team’s star names have been faced with difficult decisions over the summer months.
