There mere sight of Myles Garrett in a sling following the Browns 29-12 loss to the Broncos triggered panic across the fan base. Amidst an assortment of key injuries, Garrett has been the glue holding Cleveland’s season together.
On Wednesday, as the team resumed practice out in Los Angeles, ahead of a key matchup with the Rams, Garrett was seen off to the side doing work with other players who were unable to practice.
For what it’s worth, that is not an uncommon sight for Garrett who is always given a veteran rest day on Wednesdays and therefore doesn’t practice.
The more encouraging sight is that he was no longer in a sling and appeared to be moving his left arm without any restrictions.
Garrett isn’t the only key player whose status for Sunday is clouded with uncertainty though. CB Denzel Ward is dealing with his own shoulder issue and already missed one game because of it. Meanwhile, rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson is still working through the concussion protocol this week in hope of playing against LA.
Follow along each day to find out the practice status of all those key individuals and others, ahead of Week 13:

But Mayfield will have to fend off former second-round pick Kyle Trask, who has been making some waves during training camp.
