Wolverines key player was set to be ruled out due to the argument….

Michigan had just five players listed on the injury report a week ago against Penn State — three of which were ruled out.

Entering game 11, the Wolverines continue to stay extremely healthy.

After releasing the injury report two hours prior to kick against Maryland, there are just two players ruled out for the game against the Terps.

But one of which is starter La’Darius Henderson.

The Michigan starters have only played two full games of football this season and that’s a huge reason as to why the Wolverines have remained extremely healthy.

Michigan and Maryland will kick at Noon on Fox. The Wolverines have defeated the Terps two games in a row and Michigan leads the all-time series 10-2.

Garrett sat out practice on Wednesday and Thursday here, but worked off to the side, doing a little more each day.

Buy Thursday, he was doing pushups on an exercise ball, and spending a few seconds in a four-point stance to see if the shoulder could tolerate it.

By Friday, he was full-go and one of the gang, participating in all of the position drills in the early part of practice open to the media.

He worked out of the four-stance, maneuvered past would-be blockers and air-dunked over the goal-post.

He looked so good, he doesn’t anticipate any restrictions during the game.

If he had the shoulder taped on Friday, it wasn’t visible.

Not at the moment, no,” he said of restrictions. “Anything can change in the flow of the game, but I’m feeling great right now. I’m ready.”

Was there ever any doubt he’d play?

“Well, if you asked me Monday, maybe,” he said. “But if I’ve got another shoulder, I’m going to use it. Go off the left side, then find a way. Don’t find an excuse, find a way.”

He declined to specify the exact nature of the injury.

“I don’t think I’m able to say that,” he said. “You’ll have to ask the guy who’s coming after me (Kevin Stefanski).”

Stefanski wasn’t asked the specific nature of injury, but appreciated his heroic effort in getting back.

“As you know, with Myles — and I’d say a bunch of our guys — they fight their butts off to get to Sunday,” Stefanski said.

“That’s what Myles did and he always does. Nobody’s feeling 100% in the National Football League when you get to December, but he sets a great example for our football team, like a lot of our guys do.

Amari Cooper (rib injury too) this week. Just a lot of guys that are battling to be out there on Sunday.”
