Jalen McMurray Officially Announces Transfer To Tennessee Today…

Tennessee landed another star-studded transfer from the transfer portal to add to this fresh-looking defensive back position group.
Jalen McMurray, who formally played for Temple, announced early on Tuesday that he would transfer to Tennessee.
McMurray played cornerback for the Owls and measures around 6’0, 180 pounds.
He was a Redshirt-Sophomore this past season and had quite the resume with Temple.
During his redshirt freshman season, the transfer corner was named an All-Freshman.
He put together 49 tackles, 7 pass breakups, and one interception season while leading the team in pass breakups as a whole.
He had four pass breakups and 24 tackles during his redshirt sophomore season.
McMurray joins a list of multiple talented incoming transfers for the Tennessee Volunteers.
He is the third defensive back to transfer to Tennessee, as he follows behind Jakobe Thomas from Middle Tennessee State and Jermod McCoy from Oregon State.
Chris Brazzell and Holden Staes are also transferring to Tennessee but will play on the offense.
McMurray will likely be a big help, whether that is as a starter or rotational guy for Tennessee, as the Volunteers have already had seven defensive backs transfer away and multiple announce their intentions to enter the draft.
The Volunteers were high on the Temple transfer for a bit of time, as his name has been floating around the Tennessee fanbase for some time now, and it’s safe to say that Tennessee got “their guy.
The Volunteers now have a long-awaited off-season in which they will likely attempt to add many more transfers to the roster but will also focus on the 2025 recruiting class before the new season takes place.
