“I am eager to land”: Raiders injured player announced his return.

Award-winning quarterback expresses strong feelings about joining the Raiders
Jayden Daniels’ LSU Pro Day was attended by a large contingent of the Las Vegas Raiders. Following the practice, the quarterback met with head coach Antonio Pierce, offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, and quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello.
That the Raiders are interested in Daniels is hardly a secret. The quarterback was recruited by Pierce while attending Arizona State, and the two have been close ever since. Daniels has also made hints that he and the Raiders might share interests. Daniels shared his thoughts on being selected by Las Vegas in the draft after his Pro Day.
That would be absurd. Regarding the possibility of reuniting with Pierce on the Raiders, Daniels stated in an NFL Network interview on March 27 that “that would be crazy if that happened, but that’s out of my control, so I don’t stress on stuff like that.”
Although Daniels has no control on where he is selected, it doesn’t seem as though he would mind getting back together with Pierce. Nonetheless, he is among the best quarterback prospects in the NFL and is probably going to be selected in the top five. If Daniels is the quarterback the Raiders wish to draft, they will have to think outside the box.
In 2023, Jayden Daniels significantly raised his stock. He never threw for more than 20 touchdowns in his college career before going on to win the Heisman Trophy with a 40-touchdown season. He shot up draft boards, with the potential to go all the way to the No. 2 pick.
Daniels declined to train at the NFL Scouting Combine, so his Pro Day is the sole opportunity to demonstrate his skills. Even though the quarterback amazed everyone with his arm strength, Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports pointed out that the day wasn’t entirely ideal for him.
