In a not so surprising development, Jesse Minter has decided to follow Jim Harbaugh to Los Angeles to be the defensive coordinator of the Chargers, per multiple reports.
Minter arrived at Michigan two seasons ago after spending one season as Vanderbilt’s defensive coordinator. The young, up-and-coming coach was with the Baltimore Ravens for four years before arriving at Vandy, which made returning to the NFL seem like an inevitable development. Once Harbaugh took the job with the Chargers, the writing was on the wall for everyone concerning Minter.
Now, Sherrone Moore officially has a vacancy to fill. It sounds like Moore will also hire an offensive coordinator to take over play calling duties. The substantial turnover for Moore, starts now.
