Warriors’ Brandin Podziemski delivers a shocking revelation about his quest for a championship.
Considering the standards they have set for themselves, the Golden State Warriors have performed pretty mediocrely since winning the 2022 NBA Finals. The Warriors were eliminated in the Western Conference Semifinals of the 2022–2023 season, and Golden State was not able to advance to the playoffs in the play-in tournament this past season. Since Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Stephen Curry are not getting any younger, there is uncertainty in San Francisco regarding this team’s ability to continue winning titles. Brandin Podziemski will tell you that everything is good on the team.
After an outstanding debut season in which he became one of the Warriors’ most valuable backup players, Podziemski is currently off the bench. Actually, one of the reasons Golden State was able to get a spot in the play-in round was because of Podz. Not making the playoffs after finishing 46–36 is not encouraging for the Warriors’ prospects of winning another championship. However, Podziemski believes his club can win another title because Golden State has maintained a high level of confidence and fostered a belief in their kids.
The rookie for the Warriors recently told Willard and Dibs on 95.7 The Game in San Francisco, “I think we’re very close.” Anyone on any team may easily say that. Everyone believes they are capable of succeeding. However, I believe that we may come together when we see the young and the old combined. The strategy of Joe Lacob and Mike Dunleavy is to draft Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moony and have them grow before drafting myself and Trayce Jackson-Davis, who has collegiate experience and is prepared to make an impact.
“I think it’s set up for success putting that all together and going into a second year with all four of us, with the combination of Steph, Klay, and Draymond and whoever else is with us when the time comes.”
What happens this offseason will determine whether or not the Warriors can return to being serious contenders for titles as their veterans approach the end of their careers. Chris Paul’s deal is not guaranteed, Thompson will be a free agency, and after an unimpressive season, there are worries about whether the organization may eventually decide to split ways with Andrew Wiggins.
Despite his impressive rookie campaign, Podziemski is still confident in his skills and ability to help the Warriors succeed.
Success as a rookie for Brandin Podziemski portends a bright future

The things that can be said about Podziemski’s performance with the Warriors this season are numerous. Podziemski may not be the tallest or strongest guard in the NBA, but his toughness during the course of his first campaign is noteworthy.
From his very first game, the rookie for the Warriors led the league in charges drawn (38), demonstrating his flexibility. Podziemski participated in 74 games, scoring 45.4 percent of the time from the field and 38.5 percent from three-point range, while averaging 9.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per contest. Because of his achievements, he was named to the 2023–24 NBA All-Rookie First Team and finished fifth in the Rookie of the Year vote.
While success on an individual basis is admirable, Podziemski is only concerned with the Warriors’ overall performance. His primary objective is hence to continue having long-term playoff success.
“I’d want to attend. Podziemski stated on 95.7 The Game, “I expect myself to never not make the playoffs again in my career.” “When the [Bucks] played the [Indiana] Pacers at home, I attended Game 5 in Milwaukee. Just to get a sense of the surroundings and the atmosphere… In my opinion, the atmosphere was more boisterous during our game in Sacramento than it was during the real playoffs in Milwaukee.
But because I play physical basketball on both sides of the court, I feel like it sort of fits my style of basketball, just observing the toughness, roughness, and whistle changes throughout the playoffs. That seems like a good fit for me, so I’m excited about it, especially for next year.
Podziemski seems up to the task of leading the Warriors back to the postseason and possibly a championship run. All that’s left to ask is if the rest of the club is willing to take the required steps to ignite the franchise’s pursuit of its fifth championship since 2015.
