Billy Richmond III, a consensus top 40 recruit, has committed to play basketball at Arkansas, according to head coach John Calipari. Richmond was chosen to participate in the Iverson Classic and Jordan Brand Classic.

For the 2024–2025 season, John Calipari, the recently appointed head coach of the University of Arkansas, will preside over the NABC Board of Directors. Calipari will serve as president until the Men’s Final Four in 2025.
On April 10, Calipari, who had spent 15 seasons at Kentucky, 9 at Memphis, and 8 at UMass, was named Arkansas’s new head coach. He also finished his tenure as the New Jersey Nets’ head coach in the NBA. As President of the NABC, Calipari will advise the Board of Directors strategically on advocacy matters and projects that benefit the basketball community and coaches.

After initially joining the NABC Board of Directors in 2013, Calipari completed the previous season as its First Vice President. He succeeds Lipscomb head coach Lennie Acuff in his 2023–24 tenure as NABC President.
