For the 2024–2025 season, John Calipari, the recently appointed head coach of the University of Arkansas, will preside over the NABC Board of Directors. Calipari will serve as president until the Men’s Final Four in 2025.

On April 10, Calipari, who had spent 15 seasons at Kentucky, 9 at Memphis, and 8 at UMass, was named Arkansas’s new head coach. He also finished his tenure as the New Jersey Nets’ head coach in the NBA.
