Dylan Lewis, a 2025 prospect at wide receiver and cornerback, will be in Tennessee this weekend.

He revealed that Lewis will pay the Vols an unofficial visit on Saturday. On September 23, 2023, he went to Clemson, and on September 9, 2023, to LSU.

Born in Milton, Georgia, the five-foot-11.5, 185-pound three-star cornerback attended Milton High School.

Lewis is ranked No. 565 in the class of 2025 overall. In Georgia, he is ranked as the No. 61 player and No. 57 cornerback.

Tennessee is one of six SEC schools that provide Lewis with an education. On June 3, 2022, the Vols and Georgia Tech became the first two universities to extend a scholarship offer to Lewis.

Programs across the nation are starting to prioritize their offerings for the upcoming recruiting cycle as a result of the unveiling of the 2026 Rivals250 last month. These five West Region programs are off to a strong start with the 2026 class.

The only other college in the West having multiple commits in the 2026 class is USC. However, Colorado is doing a great job of concentrating more on high school prospects in the 2025 and 2026 classes, and the Buffaloes have already extended offers to a number of elite recruits in order to get an early advantage, particularly in the latter class.

Coach Deion Sanders has mostly concentrated on filling out his roster via the transfer portal for the first few recruiting classes. The goal of the new Colorado coaching staff, led by Sanders, has been to bring in much-needed skill or depth by either traveling the country via the portal or bringing players over from Jackson State.

However, elite prospects are being informed by Sanders and his team that although the portal will always be Adding more high school players will be a key priority going ahead as it is an essential component of their recruiting strategy. Colorado had fewer signees than any other Power Five state last recruiting cycle, with only eight. The upcoming years should see a significant change in that.

Tony Cumberland, a four-star defensive lineman from Scottsdale, Arizona’s Desert Mountain, has helped Oregon get off to a great start in the 2026 recruiting class. The Ducks are demonstrating their ability to compete for top athletes both nationally and throughout the West.

The fact that Oregon’s coach Dan Lanning has chosen to stay in Eugene and continue transforming the school into a national title contender rather than taking other employment opportunities this offseason—most notably, one with Alabama—will only aid in recruiting efforts.

Everything is going smoothly. The Ducks are already attracting a lot of attention from five-star quarterback Ryder Lyons, five-star defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart, and numerous more outstanding four-star prospects. This trend should only continue.

Lanning is doing well at Oregon, and she has over 125 offers have already been made in the 2026 class, and many eyes are searching for the best candidates.
