Liverpoolinjury news – Firmino and Keita ruled out of trip to LeicesterIn a pre-match press conference today, Klopp confirmed that Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita will miss Monday’s trip to Leicester due to injuries.
The Brazilian, who will leave the Anfield outfit this summer after eight years at the club, has missed the last five games due to a muscle problem.
Keita, who will also leave this summer due to his contract expiring, has not played for Liverpool since February.
Kloppconfirmed that neither will feature in next week’s match:
“I saw Bobby in training yesterday and it looks like he’s almost there, but I don’t think he’ll be there this weekend.
If I walk out of here and he’s at the session, I’d be surprised.
I assume we will start team training with him after the game against Leicester City.
And Naby, no.Meanwhile, Leicester City are fighting to stay in the Premier League.
